Chardonnay

Chardonnay is a green-skinned grape variety used to make white wine. It is originated from the Burgundy wine region of eastern France but is now grown wherever wine is produced. For new and developing wine regions, growing Chardonnay is seen as a "rite of passage" and an easy segue into the international wine market.

Ferrari Carano is a full-bodied Chardonnay, this wine delights with aromas of apple, a hint of graham cracker, floral notes, and honey, perfectly balanced by flavors of lemon and pear on the entry and lingering, creamy marshmallow, toasted oak notes.

Merlot

Merlot is a darkly blue-colored wine grape, that is used as both a blending grape and for varietal wines. The name Merlot is thought to derive from the Old French word for young blackbird. Merlot-based wines usually have medium body with hints of berry, plum, and currant.

Pinot Noir

Pinot Noir is a black wine grape variety of the species Vitis vinifera. The name may also refer to wines created predominantly from Pinot noir grapes. The name is derived from the French words for "pine" and "black" alluding to the grape variety's tightly clustered dark purple pine cone-shaped bunches of fruit.

J Lohr Pinot Noir has a garnet color, and is adorned with aromas of red fruit, lilac, rose petal, vanilla and notes of sage and thyme. Tar, beeswax and oak frame the complex varietal character unique to Pinot Noir. Soft tannins on the palate give way to the fine, talcy finish on this very food friendly wine.

Sauvignon Blanc

Sauvignon Blanc is a green-skinned grape variety which originates from the Bordeaux region of France. The grape most likely gets its name from the French word sauvage ("wild") and blanc ("white") due to its early origins as an indigenous grape in South West France. Sauvignon blanc is planted in many of the world's wine regions, producing a crisp, dry, and refreshing white varietal wine.

Nearly three-quarters the size of France, California accounts for nearly 90 percent of entire American wine production. The production in California alone is one third larger than that of Australia. If California were a separate country, it would be the world's fourth-largest wine producer. The state's viticultural history dates back to the 18th century when Spanish missionaries planted the first vineyards to produce wine for Mass.

French wine is produced in several regions throughout France, in quantities between 50 and 60 million hectolitres per year, or 7–8 billion bottles. France has the world's second-largest total vineyard area, behind Spain, and is in the position of being the world's largest wine producer losing it once (in 2008) to Italy. French wine traces its history to the 6th century BC, with many of France's regions dating their wine-making history to Roman times. The wines produced today range from expensive high-end wines sold internationally, to more modest wines usually only seen within France.

ALAIN GRAILLOT CROZES HERMITAGE has aromas of cherry pie, incense, bacon fat and violet. Modestly concentrated but fresh and focused, with red berry, cherry, mineral and candied flower flavors and good back-end cut. Finishes on a tangy note, with a hint of smoky minerals.

Italy

DID YOU KNOW?
Italy is home to some of the oldest wine-producing regions in the world. Italy is the world's largest wine producer, responsible for approximately one-fifth of world wine production in 2005. Italian wine is exported largely around the world and has market share of over 10% in most Asian countries like India. Wine is extremely popular in Italy. Italians lead the world in wine consumption by volume with 70 literes per capita consumption, compared to 25 litres in the US, 20 litres in Australia, 40 millilitres in China and 9 millilitres in India. Grapes are grown in almost every region of the country. More than 1 million vineyards are under cultivation.

Allegrini palazzo Della Torre is characterised by a long, elegant finish. Deep ruby red in color, it has a delicious wild berry perfume, with flavour of raisins. The grapes Corvina Veronese, Rondinella and Sangiovese from the Palazzo della Torre vineyard follow two different paths: 70 % of the grapes are vinified immediately after the harvest, the remaining percentage is dried until the end of December. At this point, the wine ferments again with the dried grapes.

Antinori PE'PPOLI Chiant Classico wine has an intense aroma of red berries, accompanied by hints of vanilla and chocolate. It shows great structure on the palate, especially characterized by a level of acidity which amplifies the persistence of the fruit.

Il Valentiano Brunello di Montalcino "Campo di Marzo" is a clear, brilliant, burgundy with ruby light. It gives out a persisting, strong smell with nuances from the underwood, aromatic wood, soft fruit, vanilla and preserve. At taste the wine is round and full-bodied, dry with an aromatic persistence.

Torre Rosaza Pinot Grigio is a straw-colored wine with golden reflections. To the nose, it gives off pronounced floral scents that become fruity, recalling the flavor of apple and ripened pear. The palate will find this wine soft and engulfing as it wisely combines good body with pleasantly acidic nervature, which provides for fresh drinkability. Well-balanced in all its components, this wine has a good level of persistence.

Inama Soave Classico has a light yellow color. Elegant nose of sweet field flowers: camomile, elder flower, iris. Pleasant on the palate with sweet almond on the finish. Aperitif, delicate dishes, salads and white fish.

Our southern neighbors are the value wine provider in the business. A combination of new world and old world flavors make South America's wine distinctive. Chile & Argentina are the regions producing the most wine coming out of the continent. The wines from this area are good value with a distinctive taste. They create new world wines with old world character.

Andeluna Malbec is bright ruby-red in color. A whiff of pepper-and-gunpowder reduction dissipates to reveal aromas of plum, cherry, dark chocolate, fresh herbs and spicy oak. Smooth and sweet, with good spicy lift to the plum, currant and chocolate flavors; a stronger cherry element emerged with air.

Catena Chardonnay offers honeyed stone fruit flavors with a rich, unctuous mouthfeel, while the Tupungato vineyard lends citrus notes, pear and fig flavors with a strong minerality and a crisp finish.

Clos de los Siete is dark garnet in color, this wine smells of cassis and well oiled leather. In the mouth aggressive tannins wrap the tongue in a leathery fist while flavors of wet dirt, cassis, and dried black cherries fuse into a rich mulch of tastiness. Quite young and in need of 2-3 years of age, this wine will be much more delicious with some time. As it is, those who appreciate something a bit more austere may really enjoy this wine.

Veramonte Primus has aroma's of Exotic spice, toast and hints of tobacco and mint. In the mouth flavors of Ripe red and dark berry fruit with spicy notes. Round mid palate with elegant yet powerful tannins.

Spain

Spanish wines are wines produced in the southwestern European country of Spain. Located on the Iberian Peninsula, Spain has over 2.9 million acres (over 1.17 million hectares) planted—making it the most widely planted wine producing nation but it is the third largest producer of wine in the world, the largest being France followed by Italy. The country has an abundance of native grape varieties, with over 400 varieties planted throughout Spain though 80 percent of the country's wine production is from only 20 grapes—including Tempranillo, Albariño, Garnacha, Palomino, Airen, Macabeo, Parellada, Xarel·lo, Cariñena and Monastrell.

Burgans' Albarino has a bright greenish yellow color with golden tinges. Fruity aromas and complexity highlight nuances of ripe apple. On the palate, a distinct sweet character gives an intense, pleasurable sensation with a balanced and rounded structural finish.

Celler Can Blau has aromas of blueberry and boysenberry compote are complemented by cinnamon and mace, along with a subtle smoky undertone. Gains weight and richness with air, picking up notes of mocha and candied flowers.

Evodia Garnacha offers a lovely perfume of spice box, mineral,and wild cherry. This perfectly balanced mix of flavors lends itself to an intensely fruity wine with loads of taste, a smooth texture, and apure, fruit-filled finish. Pairs well with white and red meats roasted.

Puerta Bonita G5 has aromas of violets, lilies, red berries and graphite. Massive, great structure with beautiful bracing acidity. Delicate and firm. Electric and nervy. On the plate flavors of red licorice, luscious fruit, bright lingering tannins.

Segura Viudas Cava Brut has aromas of white fruits, citrus and tropical fruits, and light floral notes. The palate is exquisite, complex and full of flavour, with good acidity and notes of lime and pineapple. It is dry and long on the finish.
